    • All Android phones with OS version 4.4 to 5.1 and all iPhones with iOS version 7 and above are compatible with AVA

  • Does the Save My Soul app work without AVA?

    • No, the app is activated only when it is paired with AVA

  • How to pair - for the first time ?

    • a. Ensure to reverse the battery and turn on AVA by a single press

    • b. Scan AVA from SMS app and select the device

      NOTE: Please place the device close to your smartphone.

  • Trouble with Pairing & Unpairing ?

    • a. Please follow the steps to reset your device

      • i. Select Unpair from App Menu

      • ii. Press & Hold the AVA button for 15 seconds to Reset the device

      NOTE: Please place the device close to your smartphone. New device comes with a sticker on the battery. This needs to be removed

    • b. To pair, click AVA button once.

    • c. Please note that sometimes antivirus software might prevent the Bluetooth connection when app is minimized. We will recommend not to use these software when Save My Soul app is in use.

  • What happens if I change phones after I start using AVA? Will AVA work on my new phone?

    • Yes, AVA will work on your new phone if it is a smartphone (refer point 3)

      • a. First, turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone
      • b. Then, long press the trigger button on AVA for 5 seconds for it to go into search mode.
      • c. Your new smartphone just needs to have the Save My Soul app.
  • What happens if I change my phone number? Can I sync the same device to my new number?

    • Yes, you can pair AVA even with the new number in your smartphone. AVA works on BLE technology and is not affected by a change in phone number

  • Do AVA and the Save My Soul app work everywhere in India?

    • Yes, they do

  • Do AVA and the Save My Soul app work abroad?

    • This service will be enabled shortly. You will receive a notification from us when this update is made.

  • Can I carry AVA through airports and on an aircraft?

    • Yes, you can carry AVA with you through airports and on the aircraft as it runs on BLE technology, which is not prohibited on flights.

  • Does the app work when my phone is locked?

    • Yes, the Save My Soul app will work even if your phone is locked, as long as it is paired with AVA.

  • Does the app run as a background process even after exiting it on my smartphone?

    • Yes, the Save My Soul App runs as a background process even after exiting it on your smartphone.

  • How long does AVA's battery last?

    • Based on BLE technology, AVA can run for 3-4 months on a full charge

  • Will the "Scream" function work if my phone is on silent mode?

    • Yes, the scream function will work even if your device is in silent mode.

  • What if my currency balance is low and I'm in trouble, how will the text message go out?

    • The app always uses data connectivity to send SMS's

  • What if I don't have data connectivity? Will AVA and Save My Soul app work?

    • Yes, if data connectivity is unavailable, the Save My Soul app app will send alerts to your emergency contacts using the text messaging service on your smartphone

  • What if I trigger the SOS button by accident? Can I stop the action?

    • Yes, you can stop the trigger if activated by accident by clicking the trigger button provided on AVA.

  • Who can see my location when I ask to be tracked?

    • Nobody can, unless you trigger an SOS, in which case your emergency contact list will be alerted and able to see and track your location.

  • When I'm in trouble and in a moving vehicle, does my location get updated to my emergency contacts?

    • Yes, when an alert is triggered from a moving vehicle, your emergency contact list will receive an alert once and your current location is updated every 2 minutes.

  • What if my phone is snatched away, will the device alone help me?

    • Yes, the device alone will help you send out a alert message; As long as the AVA and the phone are in the range ( Within 20 meters )

      • a. Double Click the trigger button provided on AVA to initiate the start tracking function.
  • What if my device is snatched away, can I trigger an alert using just the app?

    • Yes, you can trigger an alert using just the SMS app on your smartphone; As long as the AVA - Device and the phone are in the range. ( Within 20 meters )

  • What if I am unable to respond to an alert when being tracked and I'm in trouble?

    • In case you end up in a situation where you are unable to confirm the emergency request on the SMS app, an alert message along with your current location will be sent to your emergency contact list within minutes.

  • Can I change my accompanying contacts list multiple times?

    • Yes, user can update their primary emergency contact list multiple times in the settings option within the SMS app.

  • How will I know if the battery on the device is running out?

    • When your device battery strength reaches 10%, you will receive an alert notification every 6 hours through the SMS app on your smartphone.

  • How do I optimize battery usage?

    • When AVA is out of range or not in use, the LED is blinking for the indication. The device should either be brought in range and paired again with single press of the button or double click the button to stop usage and put AVA to sleep.
